About this Blog

Please, try not to be offended.

Yes, I’m a college graduate with a degree in journalism. (So I should know how to tell a story on multiple platforms.)

Yes, I’ve interned and worked as a reporter and editor. (So I should be able to tell said stories succinctly and with little to no errors.)

But I’m not perfect and neither is this blog.

This entire thing started simply as an “About Me” and links to my work –  an online portfolio of sorts. Then, in 2010 I decided to take a cross country road trip and it turned into a travel blog. That same year, I took an internship in Washington, D.C. and I documented some of the high points – including a whirlwind trip up the East Coast.

As time has passed, this blog has turned into a scrapbook of my adventures. I don’t get out near as much as I’d like to, but I firmly believe that anything can be turned into an adventure. So, if you’re bored and looking for something to do, travel along with me. I don’t promise to take you somewhere exotic, but I do promise to try to transport you to somewhere new with every post.

And please, forgive my grammatical errors, typos and general weblife snafus. Better yet – point them out to me and I will fix them!
